The Cool Down
Date: 23-05-2008
The event in Bregenz is organised by Kanumagazin and High5 Rafting with Teva Germany as a big partner. It is held on the Bregenzer Ache, a damned river that is released only this day of the year. Because a big party of the German and Austrian kayak scene made their first strokes on this river, the event is more of a big reunion including a run down, followed by the cardboard race and a film show in the evening.

The run down really felt like a cooling down for the team and was all about enjoying the team spirit that we built up in these two weeks. At the cardboard race Kees could get hold of a nice Teva cap by paddling Michele’s and Roy’s designed boat the first over the finish. We topped off this day by eating some wonderful Schnitzels in a very traditional restaurant.
